@The Banner here is the proposal: remove the gray apart of the infobox about cold War. The reason for doing this is the statement that cold War is not considered a part of the aftermath of ww2 but rather an independent time period where the war between ideologies ensues until the fall of USSR in 1991. 2404:C0:2F10:0:0:0:4460:A182 (talk) 13:45, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I did not add the reference. I added the sfn template which allowed the CS1 software to report the ref error. Maybe you can track down the editor that added the ref. User-duck (talk) 22:46, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In the Espionage section, the paragraph/sentence that begins, "According to historian Robert L. Benson..." should have a comma after "messages" instead of a period. Micahwierenga (talk) 14:45, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I found this page through the category. I guess it used to have the template? (WP:TODO) This currently had a to do list page(Talk:Cold War/to do) - admittedly at the moment very sloppy. Maybe I would suggest near-blanking out the page and seeking consensual tasks? (alternatively maybe removing this page from the category?) User:Dwarf Kirlston - talk04:50, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Should we not be considering renaming this article as the FirstCold War, since it seems quite apparent that the Second Cold War is already well under way? Guinness2702 (talk) 14:34, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We should not, because reliable sources have not consistently and confidently (i.e. not in the manner of asking the same question you did) described the current global political situation as such. There have been so many "is this the Second Cold War" questions raised since 1991. Yue🌙18:17, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
